Define a measurement contract
Start with a decision you need to make: reduce processing time, reduce handoff errors or improve completion reliability. Specify event names, expected units, sampling rules and retention before collecting anything.
Illustrative charts are useful for UI prototyping but must be clearly labeled. The public dashboard's sample events are not live customer or inference statistics.
Distinguish proxies from outcomes
Number of generated URLs, workflow steps and demo sessions are activity metrics. They do not prove productivity gains, conversion lift or AI quality. Measure elapsed time, downstream error rate and review effort instead.
Use a baseline and transparent denominator; otherwise percentages create a false sense of precision.
Build feedback into a release
For each experiment, state the hypothesis, expected outcome, success threshold and rollback condition. Record whether the change shipped and what was measured versus merely estimated.
A changelog should distinguish shipped features, fixes and ideas. A roadmap is a plan, not a commitment or proof of capability.
Protect users while measuring
Before introducing analytics, document what data is collected, why, retention and opt-out. Prefer aggregated operational signals where appropriate and avoid capturing exported customer drafts without authorization.
These notes describe an evaluation methodology, not a claim of collected metrics, paying customers or audited performance.
Review functional demos and engineering documentation.
